Are there any pray-ers out there?

Hello friends and family! If you are a pray-er and are looking for a prayer assignment, I have one for you. My friend, Brenda Gilbertson, is battling cancer. She is standing on God's Word for full healing as she does everything in the natural such as receive radiation treatment. She is currently recuperating from her last radiation treatment. Her husband, Andrew, was able to take a leave of absence from work for the month of January to be home with her.

I met Brenda because of Andrew. Andrew is a Saint John's University graduate. His dad was very instrumental in my life as well as other Bennies and Johnnies who attend InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Andrew grew up in Northfield and his dad pastored a church there. Yet, his dad made the drive up to St. Ben's several times to minister to us on a Thursday night for our InterVarsity large group meeting. He challenged many of the beliefs and assumptions regarding Christianity that I had that were not based on the Word of God.
