Comments?

Hello everyone! On my previous post I asked for your comments, but I had turned off the comments link. I have added it back, so if you have any comments, you can add them to this post.

I hope that everyone is having a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Right now I am listen to tree frogs on "Go, Diego, Go" singing "Help us, Help us, Ribbit, Ribbit!" Diego is one of David's favorite characters. The people at Nick Jr. finally wised up and added a boy character like Dora. Diego is Dora's cousin. David loves Dora too, but all the merchandise for Dora is pink and/or purple. Now he can get things with Diego. Fun, huh?

I forgot to mention that on our errands today that we will be going to the mall. David got an email from Build a Bear. His puppy he made when we were in Texas last year in one year old. He received a coupon from them for a free $5 accessory as a birthday gift for his dog, Mika. Fun, huh? It is great business on their part because most parents will go in the store with the $5 coupon and spend more money!!! I love this store, and I am looking forward to taking David there today.

If I had a digital camera, I would be able to post pictures from the store. Unfortunately, we haven't moved in to the digital age yet. Ed wants a digital camera like my dad's which is super AWESOME, but a bit expensive. I am hoping to get a small digital camera that can fit in my purse, so I am always ready for "Kodak" moments. Maybe David and Ed will get it for me for my birthday! :-)

Looking forward to hearing from you all!

Word Cloud

These are the most frequent words on my blog. If you want to check out your word cloud, visit http://snapshirts.com/custom.php.

I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend. David and I are hanging out this weekend just the two of us. Ed is making his way back from Seattle in a 1970 VW bus. He is SO EXCITED!!! The bus is in really good shape, and we got a FANTASTIC deal on it. Ed's dad had a bus when he was a kid, so they are both looking forward to working on whatever needs to be done on the bus together along with David. David is definitely daddy's little helper. Whenever Ed says he is going to work on a project, David is right there to help out. David also helps me around the house. I think that he just likes to help in general!!!

David and I have some errands to run today. If we aren't too tired, I think that we are going to go to church tonight and tomorrow morning because we have a special speaker this weekend. Rick Renner, pastor of Good News Moscow Church, is here all the way from Russia. Check out his blog here: http://rickrenner.blogs.com/rworld/. The last time he was at church was incredible, so I want to make it to as many meetings as possible. Other than errands and church, David and I are going to have a really low key weekend. What are your plans for the weekend? Post them here and let us know what you are up to. We love you all!

Two More Babies on the Scene

Hello everyone!

I apologize for the length between postings. I have recently begun nannying for three kids, so my days are fuller than before. They are friends of ours from church, so David already knows the kids. I actually feel like telling them that I feel guilty taking their money because I am getting paid for David to be on play dates. The three kids are Matthew, Mary Kate, and Michael. They are seven, five, and three. While I adore all of them, it has been fun to hang out with Mary Kate because we get to have "girl time."

Since my last posting, I have attended the Glory to Him homeschool co-op picnic. I am all signed up for the co-op and really looking forward to it. I think it will help me as I begin this new adventure. I am not committing to do this for more than this next year. Ed and I have decided to see where God leads us next year, but for now, I know that this is the best decision for David.
It is quite freeing to know that I don't have to lock myself into something just because I am doing it this year. I think that feeling locked into something has held me back in the past because I didn't think it was OK to change my mind. Funny how we change, huh?

Our friends, John and Dana Avery, had their fourth child this last Friday. After three boys, Dana finally gets her little girl!!! Her name is Josie Kay Avery. I wish I would have saved the email from John with the stats. All I remember for sure is that she weighed over eight pounds. I got to spend an hour with the proud parents and Josie on Saturday. It was a lot of FUN! I am glad that I have all these girls around to hang out with and spoil since I don't have one of my own.

My Uncle Don and Aunt Lynne in Texas are grandparents to a little named Anna Elizabeth Allemann. She was born on Monday, August 21st at 12:00 am. She was 21 inches long and weighed seven pounds and two ounces. The proud parents are Andrew and Stacey. The picture that is posted here is of Anna. Isn't she precious?

Look forward to hearing from all of you out in cyberspace!
